The CD arrives shrink-wrapped in transparent plastic, with no information about the musicians involved, no track listing, and certainly no background information. This naturally encourages listeners to investigate further in order to uncover the mystery. Recorded in 2018/2019, the album features 13 tracks, four of which are original compositions by Luigi Coviello, the artistic director of the orchestra. Three tracks are sung by Marisol Martinez, the passionate and vocally confident resident singer of ‘Andariega’.
In the past, this compilation would have been exchanged as a ‘mixtape’. Practically all of the tracks are hymns to love—the longed-for, the lost, the joyful, and the painful! A request to the sound engineer for the next CD: turn down the bass! This CD comes in simple plastic packaging without a booklet.
