Prick up your ears and give it a listen! “This Is What Avant-Garde Sounds Like,” raved the Argentine daily Clarín in December 2025 following “Sonico’s” South American tour. With *Rovira 100*, the Brussels-based ensemble—dedicated to rediscovering the music of bandoneonist and composer Eduardo Rovira—has released its fifth album.

Its previous albums were already acoustic gems of Tango Nuevo; above all, they freed the genre from being constantly reduced to the work of Astor Piazzolla. This tribute to Rovira’s 100th birthday features 15 tracks, only three of which were not composed by him.
