For 20 years, Quinteto Ángel has been dedicated to tango, the endlessly versatile, rich music from Buenos Aires. On their sixth album, the musicians present new arrangements and transcriptions from the golden age of tango: music of Aníbal Troilo's orchestra and of Astor Piazzolla's first Orquesta Típica 1946-1948 as well as elegant and sparkling arrangements of Horacio Salgán's Quinteto Real and Piazzolla's revolutionary Quinteto Nuevo Tango.
 A very special praise for the interpretation and editorial value of all these demanding compositions and arrangements.
