We met Karl Espegard, gifted violinist, artistic director and producer of this project, at a small live event. Almost a little embarrassed, he hands us the CD Manifiesto at the end, twelve tracks that he was able to realize with 'El Muro Tango' and the singer Omar Mollo.
Musicians from Norway and the Netherlands joined forces and worked for a long time and without time pressure on precise interpretations of very different musical styles. Always with the idea and aim of countering the zeitgeist with life, because "music is life - under all circumstances". From this point of view, Manifiesto can also be interpreted as a declaration of principle for the openness of music and the great themes of life. Not only in Argentina.
