Bandonegro
Tanuevo
This production is amazing—I haven't heard anything like it in terms of colorfulness, compositional quality, and inspiration, paired with the subtle musical expressiveness of the performers.
It's no coincidence that this CD is called Tanuevo, because the basis for the music here comes from Astor Piazzolla. Everything is 'new tango', but the form in which it appears here makes all the difference and gives it its appeal.
It is his tango – only further developed and influenced by the sounds, playing styles, and musical ideas of the 21st century. And – it is music to listen to; the four Poles and their two guests are not playing for the feet. Conclusion: definitely worth listening to!
