"Tanuevo" was created after an inspiring tour in Buenos Aires, where Bandonegro devoted themselves entirely to the essence of tango and collected material for this project. Driven by their deep admiration for Astor Piazzolla, the band set out to fuse the spirit of Nuevo Tango with elements of jazz and minimal music.

Recorded at the legendary Fortmusic Studio in Buenos Aires, the album features ten original compositions that reflect a forward-looking vision of tango. In collaboration with renowned Argentine musicians, including Pipi Piazzolla, the project combines the classical tradition of tango with fresh new influences.

"Tanuevo" is more than just an album; it is a statement of passion and authenticity—a musical manifesto that not only plays tango but lives it. It opens up new horizons for the genre and continues Piazzolla's legacy with a bold, contemporary voice.
