Rayolazo

The Argentinean, born in 1971, comes from a tango family and - after detours to blues and rock in the 1990s - took up this music. As a pianist and composer, Montanelli has worked both as a soloist and with singers and ensembles. He strives to combine traditional tango with sounds from other current and popular musical styles.
However, on this CD the tango is represented in a rather limited way. Except for the original tangos, much of this CD seems like incidental music, introduction, transition, background sound, probably self-published. This is how it should be heard, as music that accompanies in the background, fills the room, creates atmosphere.
