This CD is a real gem!
With the three bandoneon players Roberto Di Filippo, Angel Genta, and Fernando Tell, Piazzolla was able to inspire the greats of his time with his music.
A dozen recordings from this period, mostly traditional and virtuoso pieces, can be found on the CD, which can be heard in their unedited original sound. It should be noted that the usual fluctuations in tempo are absent. This fact somewhat compensates for the lack of brilliance in digital listening experiences. 
The vitality and class of the orchestra make the traditional numbers under Piazzolla's direction an experience to remember. Even after all this time, the CD is still highly recommended!
