Stick & Bow und Gustavo Beytelmann
Veni, vola, veni
This is the coming together of two different generations of musicians who share a desire for an open, inquisitive approach to music-making: the young Canadian/Argentinian musicians Krystina Marcoux (vibraphone, marimba) and Juan Sebastian Delgado (cello), who come from a classical background, and the established Argentinian pianist, composer and arranger Gustavo Beytelmann, who lives in Paris and comes from a tango background.
The result is a stroke of luck: Astor Piazzolla's music is rarely heard with such creative, headstrong power.
